Privacy policy

CODAC FileFix is designed to process files locally in your browser for the tools currently offered. This policy describes the current MVP behavior. It should be reviewed against the final hosting, analytics and advertising configuration before public launch.

Files you select

The HEIC to JPG, PNG to JPG, Image Compressor, Image Resizer and JPG to PDF tools perform file processing in your browser. The selected file contents are not sent to CODAC application servers by these tools, and CODAC does not store the originals. The browser may hold temporary file data and generated previews in memory while you use a tool. Temporary object URLs are released when the page is closed or the selected file is removed.

Information about website usage

Google Analytics is disabled unless the site operator configures an Analytics ID and you choose to allow optional analytics. When enabled, CODAC may send page views and limited tool events identified by a tool slug. File names, file contents, image metadata and user-entered file settings are not included in these events. Your analytics choice is stored in local browser storage. You can reopen the on-screen Privacy choices control to review or change the setting.

Advertising

Advertising placements are disabled by default in this project. If advertising is enabled in a future deployment, the policy and consent controls must be updated to describe the advertising provider, cookies and related data processing before ads are served.

Third-party services

The website may load its hosting provider's infrastructure and, when configured, Google Analytics. Such providers process connection information under their own terms and privacy policies. The browser may also retrieve static application assets from the configured hosting origin.

Children and personal data

CODAC does not require an account for the current tools. Do not upload or process files containing information you are not authorized to use. Avoid sharing sensitive personal information through any future contact channel unless it is necessary.

Policy updates

This policy may change as the product, hosting or integrations change. The date above should be updated whenever a material revision is published.
