How to use Image DPI Changer
- Select a JPEG or PNG image.
- Enter the desired DPI value between 1 and 10,000.
- Update the print-resolution metadata and verify the output signature.
- Download the updated image.
Supported file formats
This tool accepts JPG, PNG. Files are checked by reading their signatures in addition to checking their names. Individual files are limited to 50 MB and a batch can contain up to 20 files with a combined size of 150 MB.
Important limitations
DPI describes print density, not image detail. Changing DPI metadata does not add pixels or improve image quality. Pixel dimensions are preserved.
