Merging PDFs is useful when separate reports, forms or scanned documents need to be shared as one file. A local browser merge can copy pages from each document without sending the source files to a conversion service.
Step-by-step instructions
- Open CODAC's Merge PDF tool and select at least two PDF files.
- Use the move controls to put the files in the required order.
- Merge the PDFs and wait for output page-count verification.
- Download the combined document and keep the originals until you have checked it.
Helpful tips
- Check the source PDFs before merging; encrypted or malformed files may not be supported.
- The current tool supports up to 20 input files, 600 combined pages and 100 extracted output pages per ZIP.
- The merged file may be larger than any individual source because it contains all selected pages.
